Tickets for the Kenya versus Burundi CHAN qualifying match will go on sale at various Wells Fargo outlets across the city starting Friday.
Kenya FA President Sam Nyamweya confirmed on Thursday that terrace tickets will retail at Sh200 while VIP tickets will sale at Sh500.
Nyamweya said that security measures had been taken care of and fans should not fear bringing their families to cheer the home team. “Security will be very tight. We do not want to compromise the security of our people.”
The retail outlets include Kenya Cinema, Kawangware, Nyayo Stadium, City Stadium, Kangemi, Mathare, Kariobangi and Westlands.
The home team under assistant coach James Nandwa, must beat the Swallows by at least 2-0 to be guaranteed of qualification to the next stage of the tournament where they will face Sudan’s Falcons of Jediane.
Nyamweya remained optimistic that Harambee Stars will prevail against the Swallows.
“The team is well prepared. You saw what they did in Kampala during the Cecafa Cup and they have made tremendous improvement since the the regional tourney. We will do everything possible within our means to motivate the team and we are sure of victory.”
