Stars will not break camp for New Year celebrations as they prepare to face Burundi

Harambee Stars will not break camp ahead of the New Year celebrations, but will continue shaping up ahead of CHAN qualifiers second leg match against Burundi Swallows scheduled for Saturday at Nyayo Stadium.Kenya FA's head of technical committee Elly Mukolwe told Goal.com that due to the short time constraint they are facing, they have opted to have the contingent remain in camp.
“We will remain in camp. Tomorrow (New Year) we will share a meal together. We are faced with a race against time and we must put our house in order before we face Burundi.”
Mukolwe added that a total of 19 players had reported to camp and four other are expected to link up with the team by Monday morning.
Kenya were defeated 1-0 in the first leg played in Bujumbura and have to win the return leg by at least two goals to nil to qualify for the next round where they are scheduled to face Sudan.
