Kenya league champions Tusker FC land another invite to play Yanga and Simba
The brewers who are scheduled to participate in the Mapinduzi tourney in Zanzibar, have now received invite to play Tanzania side Simba and Yanga
The league champions, who are scheduled to tour Zanzibar to participate in the annual Mapinduzi Cup tournament that kicks-off on new year's day, have been invited, this time in Dar es Salaam to feature in two high profile friendly matches against bigwigs Simba SC and Yanga on December 26 and 29 respectively.
The friendly games have been organized in a collaboration between Smart Sports General Supplies and the Dar es Salaam regional football association.
The Ruaraka-based side, who have expansively strengthened their squad ahead of the 2013 season, are expected to depart for Tanzania on December 24, 2012, and will travel to Zanzibar after the two build up matches.
In the Mapinduzi tournament, Tusker have been pooled alongside Azam, Mtibwa Sugar, Young Africans, (Tanzania) and Miembeni (Zanzibar) in Group B. Group A consists of Al Ahly (Egypt), Simba, Coastal Union (Tanzania) and Jamuhuri (Zanzibar).
