The signing of the duo brings to four the number of new signings at the club. Others are Kunkurunmi from Muhoroni and Otieno from Western StimaGor Mahia are set to sign immediate former Tusker FC talisman Obadiah Ndege just three days after being dropped by the brewers head coach Robert Matano.
Gor’s deputy secretary general Ronald Ngala revealed to Goal.com that they will complete the paper work with the player's agent by Thursday.
“We are bringing him on board and at the close of business on (Thursday). He is a deadly striker that we need in our squad.”
Apart from the former Tusker player, K’ogalo is also due to complete the acquisition of goalkeeper Zackary Onyango who makes a return to the local league scene after a brief stint with Ethiopia’s Coffee Board FC.
Prior to moving to Ethiopia, Onyango turned out for 2009 league champions Sofapaka FC.
“The signing of Onyango is meant to beef up the goalkeeping department after the departure of Wycliffe Kasaya who is rumored to be heading back to promoted side Bandari FC.”
Onyango is likely to be the third choice custodian and will have to work extra hard to beat first choice goalkeeper Jerim Onyango and second in command Ivo Mapunda for the gloves.
