Kenya has dropped four places in the global rankings from 130 to 134 but remain unchanged in Africa where they occupy position 39
Kenya's Harambee Stars has dropped further according to the latest Fifa/World Rankings released by the World governing body Fifa on December 19.
Kenya has dropped four places in the global rankings from 130 to 134 but remain unchanged in Africa where they occupy position 39.
The drop must be attributed to Harambee Stars losing 1-0 away to Tanzania's Taifa Stars in a friendly match. The team also lost in the African Nations Championships (Chan) qualifier going down 1-0 to Burundi's Swallows on December 16 in Bujumbura.
Ivory Coast is the best ranked team in Africa after collecting 995 points while Spain tops the World's rankings.
Stars is set to resume residential training on Wednesday to start preparations for the return leg match against Burundi on January 7 in Nairobi.
