Matano said that the four - Andrew Ssekayombya, Kizza Martin, Awuton Khalid and Robert Omunuk - are all quality players whom he will heavily rely on when the season gets underway in February and his league opponents should watch out.
“We sourced far and got what we believe are the right signings for us .I have watched them and believe they have what it takes to flourish here,” the league champions’ tactician told Goal.com.
“They are experienced players and have proved it at their respective clubs and we expect them to fit in easily and do well with us.”
Matano at the same time defended his decision to drop several players from the squad he inherited from former coach Sammy ‘Pamzo’ Omollo saying that he has to rebuild the squad around players he feel can deliver.
“I do not need to justify whom I sign to anybody. As a coach I have the ultimate right to sign players whom I think can fit into my game plan.”
Matano sent several players packing among them striker Dennis Mukaisi, winger Patrick Kagogo and combative midfielder Crispin ‘Alphy’ Olando.
