Kenya's Ulinzi Stars to face Angola in the last eight of Military Games in Abidjan

The paramilitary side qualified for the quarters after topping their Group on four points after drawing 3-3 with B. Faso and beating Gambia 2-0

Ulinzi Stars will play against Angola in the quarter-finals of the on-going Military Games in Abidjan, Ivory Coast on Wednesday.

Ulinzi Stars qualified for the quarters after topping their group with four points.

The soldiers drew 3-3 against Burkina Faso in the first match before beating Gambia 2-0 on Saturday with assistant captain Evans Amwoka striking a brace.

Angola lost 9-0 to Cameroon in their first Group match.

In the other quarter-finals, hosts Ivory Coast will take on Guinea, Zambia will take on Mali while Cameroon takes on Burkina Faso which finished second in Kenya’s group.

Cameroon are the defending champions of the tournament after beating Kenya in the finals two years ago in Uganda.
