Kenya stand in coach James Nandwa has handed Kevin 'Daddy' Omondi a starting role when they face Zanzibar in the semi-final of Cecafa Cup tournament at Namboole Stadium on Thursday.
Omondi, who rejoined the team alongside Paul Were after being pardoned, starts in the decisive match while Were will be on the bench.
Gor Mahia striker Edwin Lavasta, who started the duel against Malawi, has been relegated to the bench with AFC Leopards’ Mike Baraza, who came in as a second half substitute, set to start upfront alongside Rama Salim.
