Mathare United striker Francis Ouma has been recalled to the national team Harambee Stars to prepare for Chan match against Burundi set for between December 14 and 15.

The squad released on Thursday by coach Henri Michel also has the inclusion of Paul Kiongera of Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) and Ismail Salim of Sony Sugar.

Other players making the team are Gor Mahia's Moses Odhiambo, Thika United's Francis Kahata and Ulinzi Stars goalkeeper Jactone Odhiambo.

Kenya FA Media Officer John Kariuki confirmed to that the team will move to camp on November 26.

If Kenya makes it past this stage they will play Sudan who together with Uganda, Rwanda and Tanzania have been exempted from the opening rounds from the Central-East Zone.

The final will involve two teams from North Zone, two from West A Zone, three from West B Zone, three from Central Zone, three from Central East and three from South Zone (including hosts South Africa).

Democratic Republic of Congo won the inaugural Chan tournament, which is played by home-based players in Cote d’ Ivoire in 2009 while Tunisia were the Cup winners of the 2011 competition held in Sudan.
