Kenya Premier League (KPL) side Mathare United defender Anthony Kimani is the latest inclusion in the Cecafa bound Harambee Stars squad.
The "slum boys' captain who can play at right back and in central defence, is set to replace Tanzanian-based defender Ibrahim Shikanda.
"I am on my way to the team's training camp. The coach (James Nandwa) just gave me a call and told me to link up with the team straight away," Kimani exclusively told Goal.com.
Nandwa is expected to have his first session with a full squad today after Sofapaka and Gor Mahia players - who were given time to feature in the FKF Cup final on Tuesday- linked with the squad on Wednesday.
The Head coach is then expected to name his travelling party and team captain just before the team departs for Kampala on Thursday.
