Kenya FA picks Nyayo Stadium to host Gor Mahia, Sofapaka Cup final on Tuesday
A total of 20, 000 tickets will be available for the decisive match with VIP tickets going for Sh500 and those for terraces area retailing at Sh200
This year’s President’s Cup final pitting defending champions Gor Mahia against Sofapaka FC will be held at Nyayo National Stadium on Tuesday starting 7pm.
A total of 20, 000 tickets will be available for the match. The VIP area which will cost Sh500 will have 3, 000 tickets printed while 17, 000 tickets are available for the terraces and will sale for Sh200.
The tickets will be sold by Wells Fargo at designated areas and will go on sale at 9 am on the match day (Tuesday, November 20).
They could be obtained at the Times Tower and Kenya Cinema where Wells Fargo will have their vans and at all the six booths at the Nyayo Stadium.
En route to the final, Gor Mahia dumped out rivals AFC Leopards 2-1 while Sofapaka eliminated Tusker after a hard fought 1-0 victory.
The winner of the tournament will represent the country in the Confederations Cup next season. Already Tusker are assured of featuring in continental football-Africa Champions League-by virtue of winning the 2012 Kenya Premier league season.
