Omondi broke the deadlock in the eleventh minute with a neat finish before captain of the day Moses Odhiambo made it 2-0 after the half-time break
Kevin 'Ade' Omondi broke the deadlock in the eleventh minute with a neat finish after Edwin Lavatsa had done the spadework before captain of the day Moses Odhiambo made it 2-0.
Charles Okwemba pulled a consolation for AFC Leopards but it was not enough to stop Gor from reaching a second successive final in two years.
Gor launched a quick counter attack with goalkeeper Ivo Mapunda making along throw in and Lavatsa made no mistake making a good delivery to Omondi who completed the move firing to the far right end of the corner.
The first half was high paced but with much physical presence as Leopards skipper Martin Imbalambala and Edwin Wafula earned bookings for tough tackles.
Shortly after the break, K'Ogalo, widened the lead in the 51st minute when Odhiambo volleyed in from the box after being put through by Joseph Njuguna. Omondi was once again involved in the move passing to Njuguna who found out the unmarked Odhiambo to slot home.
However, unperturbed by two goals down, Leopards fought hard and got a consolation in the 80th minute when midfielder Okwemba fired a low hard drive from the box to beat Mapunda.
Gor suffered an early scare in the first half after lead striker Dan Sserunkuma was pulled out with injury after a tough challenge from Leopards right back Edwin Wafula.
Leopards won the midfield battle in the first half but could not make their dominance count. Gor were however, resolute in defending and looked more dangerous on the counter.
Gor will have goalkeeper Mapunda to thank for making several pin point saves which kept Ingwe at bay.
Both Paul Were and Mike Baraza saw their late attempts come to a cropper due to the strong goal keeping of the Tanzanian international. Gor will now meet the winner between Tusker and Sofapaka in the finals on Tuesday.
