Sofapaka defender Thomas "Heskey" Wanyama has been drafted into the national team Harambee Stars squad for this year's edition of the Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup set for Kampala, Uganda on November 24.
Mathare United goalkeeper Martin Musalia has also been recalled to the side alongside Duncan Ochieng of Sofapaka and Tusker's Boniface Oluoch.
Other players drafted into the team to be handled by coach James Nandwa include Gor Mahia's Rama Salim, AFC Leopards striking duo of Mike Baraza and Allan Wanga, Gor Mahia's Edwin Lavasta and Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) striker Paul Kiongera Mungai.
Kenya have been pooled in Group "A" alongside debutantes South Sudan, Uganda and Ethiopia. Group "B" incorporates Sudan, Tanzania, Somalia and Burundi while Group "C" comprises Malawi, Rwanda, Zanzibar and Eritrea.
The tournament will kick-off on November 24 at Namboole Stadium in Kampala with Kenya taking on Uganda Cranes in the second match of the day.
Ethiopia, who will represent the East African region at the Afcon 2013, will play the opening match against South Sudan. Malawi have been incorporated into the tournament as guest team.
