Tusker FC are the 2012 Kenyan Premier League champions. The Brewers achieved the feat by defeating City Stars 3-0 in a one-sided match played at the Hope Centre.

The two other teams challenging for the title surrendered the honors in contrasting styles. Gor Mahia who needed any win to clinch the title settled for a disappointing 1-1 draw at home to Thika United.

AFC Leopards fared worse. Jan Koops charges, who started this season's league in breathtaking form and led the standings for the majority of the campaign, were surprisingly defeated 1-0 by Chemelil Sugar at Awendo .

At the City Stadium, Thika United took a supsrise lead seven minutes to the breather through Kevin Otieno who made the most of a Fredrick Onyango mistake in Gor Mahia's goal.

Gor leveled seven minutes to fulltime and failed to snatch the precious winner through Rama Salim, who rose high to head home a Moses Odhiambo cross.

At the Hope Centre, Maurice Odipo, Obadiah Ndege and Fredrick Ojwang scored either side of the match to ensure the brewers won the match 3-0 and their second title in two years.
