EXCLUSIVEBy Dennis Mabuka
Kenya head coach Henri Michel has named an unchanged squad of 22 players set to take on Tanzania’s Taifa Stars in a friendly on November 14 in Mwanza.
Slovenia-based midfielder Patrick Oboya, who missed the last international match against South Africa’s Bafana Bafana, is the notable inclusion.
Jerry Santos, who plays for Tanzania side Coastal Union, has also been given the opportunity to feature for Stars, after missing the 1-2 defeat to South Africa due to club commitment.
Western Stima’s Wesley Kemboi and Sofapaka’s Eugine Asike, who made debuts against South Africa have been retained.
France-based striker and Kenya captain Dennis Oliech (Auxerre) leads the foreign based legion making the squad.
Others are Victor Wanyama (Celtic, Scotland), goalkeeper Arnold Origi (Ull/Kisa, Norway), Ayub Timbe (KRC Genk, Belgium) and Patrick Osiako of Israel side Hapoel Be'er Sheva.
