Kenya drops to position 130 from 128 in latest World Fifa rankings

Kenya has dropped to one of its worst positions ever globally after the latest FIFA rankings were released on Wednesday.The country which slipped two places over the last month, now lies in position 130 out of 207 Fifa member states. The worst ever ranking for the Kenyan team was position 137 in 2007.
The current ranking is linked to Kenya's defeat to South Africa in a friendly played in Nairobi in October.
Regionally, Kenya is ranked below Uganda (86), Malawi (101), Ethiopia (102), Rwanda (122) and have been leapfrogged by Burundi (128).
Cote D Ivoire are now the best ranked African team, closely followed by Algeria, Mali, Ghana and Zambia.
Spain and Germany have maintained their first and second positions respectively while Argentina have leapfrogged Portugal into third and Italy are fifth.
England has dropped to the sixth position with Netherlands, Colombia, Russia and Croatia making up the rest of the top ten teams in the planet.
