The Kenya national team Harambee Stars is set to play Libya in a friendly match scheduled for early next year.
This is after Football Kenya Federation (FKF) received and approved a request from the Libyan FA who are willing to stage the encounter in Tripoli.
"The match should be played during the FIFA Calendar week in February (16 - 20) 2013 in Tripoli. The hosts will meet all the expenses of the Kenyan entourage including return air tickets and accommodation," clarified FKF''s media Liaison officer John Kariuki to Goal.com.
Kenya who are currently ranked 126 on the FIFA rankings, played South Africa at home, and lost 2-1 in the recent friendly match last November, in what was coach Henri Michel's first match in charge.
The team is also scheduled to kick start preparations ahead of the CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup and the African Nations Championships competitions, slated to kick-off later this month.
