Bwana reveals to Goal.com that all factors remain constant as club sponsors Tuzo are yet to commit to paying the coach’s new wage demands

Gor Mahia secretary general George Bwana has revealed that the club has not made any headway in its bid to persuade head coach Zdravko Logarusic to pen a new deal.

Speaking to Goal.com Kenya, Bwana said that all factors remain constant as club sponsors Tuzo are yet to commit to paying the coach’s new wage demands.

“We have been trying our best but I can confirm to you that there is no headway. Our sponsors have remained adamant and the coach too has stood his ground.’’

Bwana noted that with the current impasse, the best they could do is to source for additional sponsors.

“It is tough but we are trying to do our best. We are scouting for possible sponsors to come on board because our determination is to keep him (Logarusic) around.”

The coach contract expires at the end of the season and it is rumored that he has suitors in Egyptian clubs who are willing to pay him hefty package.
