The former Kenya international who recently quit football citing frustration, is now a target for Bandari, a side primed to join top flight league next season
Nationwide side Bandari, are the latest club to be linked with the midfielder, who announced he was quitting the game after he was sacked by former league champions Sofapaka FC.
Bandari who are sponsored by Kenyan Ports Authority are set for a swift return to the top tier league after suffering relegation last season.
The side managed by experienced coach Rishadi Shedu, are currently placed second in the FKF Division one-Zone A league, seven points behind Kariobangi Sharks but having played three games less.
"Yes, he (Gattuso) is a player who could be very useful to our course and especially if we gain promotion (to the Kenya Premier League). I have reached out to him and we are trying to get to a compromise," said Shedu.
The Mombasa-based side will engage AFC Leopards in a friendly match this weekend.
