"I am currently in contact with his parent club in Asia, the deal shall be finalized within the next few hours. I believe this is a big catch because he (Wanga) is a very focused and talented player that will be an asset to us for the next couple of seasons."
After an impressive start to the current campaign in the Kenyan Premier League, the former Tusker FC, Sofapaka and Petro Atletico (Angola) forward has put up a series of inconsistent performances that have nevertheless been enough to convince the club hierachy to tie him down to a permanent deal.
He has scored a total ten goals from 23 appearances, (seven in the league) as well as the winning goal for the national team in the 2013 AFCON qualifier at home to Togo.
The 27 year old was selected by new Stars coach Henri Michel in the initial 24 man squad for the friendly match against South Africa but did not make the final cut.
