The Ghana national team Black Stars and Sudan have pitched camp in Nairobi ahead of their respective 2013 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Malawi and Ethiopia respectively.

Sudan were the first to jet in and have booked Nyayo Stadium for three days while it could not be confirmed where, the Black Stars, who are residing at Windsor Hotel, will train.

Sudan won the first leg match 5-3 against Ethiopia while the Black Stars edged out Malawi 2-0. Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Media Officer John Kariuki revealed to Goal.com Kenya that no team had intentions of playing any friendly match during their stay in Kenya.

Ghana need a barren draw or even afford a 1-0 defeat in the return leg scheduled for the weekend of October 13-14, to ensure qualification to the 2013 African Cup of Nations.

Their Central African opponents who lost 2-0 in the first leg need to win by three clear goals to qualify. The last time the 'Black Stars', who are ranked 31st on the latest FIFA ranking, pitched camp in Nairobi was during the previous edition of the African Cup of Nations qualifiers where they beat Sudan 2-0 to consolidate their top spot and qualify for the tournament where they finished fourth.
