Kenya league side Muhoroni Youth loses gate collections in Stadium melee

The cash was allegedly lost when Muhoroni Youth officials led by Chairman Moses Adagala caused commotion inside managers' office

Tusker Premier League side Muhoroni Youth lost gate collections amounting to Sh401, 000 during their league match with AFC Leopards on Sunday.

The cash was allegedly lost in the ensuing melee when Muhoroni Youth officials led by Chairman Moses Adagala entered the stadium's managers’ office after the tallying of tickets sales causing a commotion.

Trouble started when the stadium manager Ditmas Munialo told Muhoroni officials that they have to pay the statuary 20% to the municipality.

However, the officials refused to have the cashiers deduct the money and when Adagala accompanied with a group of goons tried to force their way in, hell broke loose.

The goons shoved aside the stadium staff and took off with the cash, leaving the official ticket agent (Ticket masters) and the FKF officials amazed.

The stadium management has however, vowed to recover their money noting that they will request FKF/KPL to ensure that the 20% amounting to Sh40, 000 is duly paid.

Muhoroni had moved the fixture from Muhoroni Stadium -their home turf-as they could not guarantee security.
