The Gambian has taken temporary charge at Stars following the departure of Gideon Ochieng who left for USA to attend a coaching courseNew Nairobi City Stars coach Bye Wadda is confident the team can beat off relegation despite reaming winless since the second leg of the Tusker Premier League (TPL) kicked off.
The Gambian has taken temporary charge at City Stars following the departure of Gideon Ochieng who has left for the United States of America (USA) to attend a coaching course.
Wadda says his target is to help City Stars collect at least 29 points and believes this will be enough to keep them in top flight football next season.
"I am not worried at all about relegation. We are playing well and our target is to hit 29 points which should help us remain in the league for another season," he said.
Wadda holds a Level 2 coaching certificate from the English Football Association and coached former Gambian Champions Real de Banjul.
