Sofapaka President Elly Kalekwa confirmed on Thursday that the Uganda Cranes defender is fully recovered and is willing to rejoin his club

Former Sofapaka defender Musa Mudde will return to the club next year. Mudde who was dropped by Tanzanian champions Simba Sports club recently, is in talks with his former club.

Sofapaka President Elly Kalekwa confirmed on Thursday, that the Uganda Cranes defender is fully recovered and is willing to rejoin his club.

"We have been in talks with Mudde and he wants to come back. Personally, I have no problem with that but it will depend on the coach," said Kalekwa.

Mudde left Sofapaka in July and joined Sports Club Simba. But his stay at the Tanzanian champions was short-lived as he was let go after sustaining a career threatening injury.

Initially he was supposed to make a comeback after six months but has resumed training and is one of coach Bobby Williamson options at the Crane's back.
