Kenya Federation chairman Sam Nyamweya says they are not happy with the way Musonye has been treating issues related to the countryFootball Kenya Federation will petition Cecafa’s national Congress to have the regional body’s secretary general Nicholas Musonye removed from his post.
FKF chairman Sam Nyamweya revealed on Friday afternoon that as federation they have already expressed their disappointment in the manner Musonye has treated Kenya, whom he termed as senior member of Cecafa.
‘’From Musonye’s endless attacks of our federation and that of our national coach, it is clear that he was behind our denial of the hosting rights. He instigated the switch of hosting the 2012 Senior Challenge Cup from Kenya to Uganda despite the rights having been given to Kenya.’’
‘’Musonye has severally attacked Kenya in his statements which have clearly shown that he is completely anti Kenya.’’
‘’It is the Kenyan federation that seconded him as Cecafa secretary general because we host the Cecafa secretariat, but now we have lost total confidence from him and will petition the congress to have him replaced.’’
Nyamweya however did not reveal the name of the candidate they will propose to take over saying they will take one step at time.
The two bodies have been engaged in fierce exchange in the past one week trading harsh accusations .Tension began simmering immediately Kenya lost the hosting rights and made a threat to boycott this years competitions.
