Sacked Sofapaka midfielder Collins "Gattuso" Okoth is now accusing his former club of not honoring his contractual obligations.
Okoth revealed to Goal.com Kenya on Thursday that Sofapaka have not paid him for three months and fired him when he protested on the same.
"For the last three months, I have not been paid a penny and not just me but the rest of the team. The only payment we have been given is a paltry Sh2,000 for winning allowances but that has since been stopped because we have not been winning matches."
"How was I supposed to attend training and yet I don't have money,?" he posed. Okoth claimed his troubles with Sofapaka began when he was suspected to have revealed to the media the luck of payment of salaries.
"Last week I was called by a top Sofapaka official who accused me of leaking the details to the media and afterwards I was given my marching orders."
He dismissed allegations of indiscipline and pointed out that he is considering quitting football due to frustrations.
