Former Harambee Stars tactician Mohammed Kheri has been suspended from all football related activities for 365 days by Football Kenya Federation for his involvement in the abandonment of the Sparki Youth FC and Adimiral FC Nationwide league match on September 22.
The federation National Excutive Committee (NEC) which met on Wednesday also suspended for life Sparki FC coach Daudi Kajembe.
"The NEC after perusing the referees and match commissioners report established that Sparki F.C were guilty," said the statement from the federation.
"Failure to comply with the sanctions and recommendations FKF will have no option but to enforce drastic displinary actions against the club," added the statement.
Spark FC players Kelvin Odhiambo, Ali Khamis, Rama Izungi have also been banned for 365 days for attacking the match referee Martin Wekesa.
The federation also docked the Division Two side Sparki Fc six points and asked the team to pay all the medical bills for the injured referee until he fully recovers.
"The federation will not cordons any acts of hooliganism and attacks on match officials is a serious violation of football rules and regulations. We warn clubs to educate their fans and respect the decisions of the match officials at all times."
