The team has been training at the Makande Primary school for the last five days in preparation for the match slated for September 30.
Starlets head coach Joseph Oyoo is confident the team will return home victorious. “The girls' have been training well and our expectation is to win the match. I have a lot of faith in them and I know they will deliver the goods.
“This is a good opportunity to prove ourselves that we have a good team capable of challenging the rest be it the region, Africa or Europe.”
“We hope after this match we will maintain the team so that we can nurture them to be the best not only in the region but in the continent. The last time we had a senior national team was in 2006 and this is a good gesture for the country in developing women football.”
