"His future is definitely at Liverpool," Marco De Marchi, his agent, told The Sun. "He's signed a long-term deal with one of the most glorious sides in the world game.
"From now think only to work hard to get back as soon as possible in the field. Needless to say he's had an unlucky season."
The comments from the Italy striker's agent come in response to news in Italy that Fiorentina have identified the player as a target in the summer transfer window, with their sporting director Daniele Prade telling Radio Toscana: "We seek a striker with a hunger for goals in their DNA, a player who lives for the goal.
"We like Fabio Borini, but it's hard to see that Liverpool will let him go."
