And, while Lloris says he is looking forward to facing the French side, he stressed that he will give his all to try to help his current club progress.
Ahead of the match, he told Spurs' official website: "I received a lot of calls and messages! I have a lot of friends there still.
"It's not easy for me because I have a good relationship with all my ex-team-mates but that is football, that is the life. On the pitch there are no friends. We play for our team and give all the best for our team.
"The objective is to be in the next round. We have ambition in this competition – we want to win."
