The Portuguese defender was hit with a £130,000 fine for his actions before he apologised to the manager, with Redknapp indicating he was "disturbed" by the player's attitude.
However the ex-Tottenham boss has now revealed that the duo have held clear-the-air talks, and stated his intent to move on from the incident.
“I’ve had a chat with Jose and as far as I’m concerned the matter is closed," he told The Sun. "It’s time to draw a line and all pull together.”
The right-back may now be included in the Hoops' squad for the trip to Swansea on Saturday.
If so, the west Londoners will hope he can help continue their mini-revival, with the club having gone seven league games without losing as they look to edge closer to survival.
