thumbnail Hello,

The France international goalkeeper moved from Lyon in the summer and has since made just two appearances for Spurs, but insists that he is happy in north London

Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has insisted that he is relaxed about the situation at the club, despite being second choice to Brad Friedel since his summer move from Lyon.

The Frenchman made the move to Spurs in August for around €10 million, but has been in a rotation system so far, only being used in Europa League clashes by manager Andre Villas-Boas.

And while he says that he would naturally like to feature more for the club, he insists that it is still early days, and thinks "everything is positive" at Spurs.

"I'm not crazy, I didn't come here to stay on the bench," Lloris told beIN SPORT. "I'm very calm about my situation. I've just moved, everything is positive.

"Of course, I'd prefer to play more. At Lyon I was playing every three or four days. Now I know that it's just temporary and that things will go back to normal."

Lloris made his second appearance for the club on Thursday as they were held to a 1-1 draw with Greek side Panathinaikos.
