Steve Bruce's men got back to winning ways when they defeated Millwall last week but Willie Duncan is backing the match to end level when they travel to the south coast on Saturday

Hull City will look to maintain their push for automatic promotion from the Championship when they face Brighton at the Amex Stadium on Saturday evening.

Hull had dropped points in each of their three previous league fixtures but the Tigers produced a solid display to claim a much-needed win over Millwall last weekend and Steve Bruce's side can be backed at 21/10 (3.10) with Bet365 to follow up by taking all three points from this clash.

Gus Poyet's men, though, are sure to offer a stiff test for the Tigers and with the Seagulls just five points adrift of the play-off places coming into this weekend's fixtures, the home side will not be lacking in motivation here.

Bet365 go 13/10 (2.30) that the Seagulls taste victory while the same firm offer 9/4 (3.25) that the match ends in stalemate.

It is worth noting that Hull boast the most impressive away record in the Championship this season, having garnered over half of their points on the road and it seems certain that Steve Bruce's side will show no fear against a side who have enjoyed fewer home wins than other side in the top half of the Championship.

Hull have conceded only 31 goals in 29 games this term - two fewer than the Seagulls, while Poyet's side have managed 41 goals this season compared to Hull's 40. With this in mind a tight, low-scoring encounter appears to be on the cards and, with that in mind, it is no surprise that Bet365 go just 4/6 (1.67) that fewer than three goals are scored here.

Therefore, it looks worth backing the draw specialists Brighton, with 12 draws in 29 league matches thus far, to be forced to settle for a share of the spoils once again at Bet365's tempting 9/4 (3.25) quote. Value backers should take the very generous 4/1 (5.0) quote from the same firm for the match to be level at both half-time and full-time.
