Thika United coach John Kamau has admitted that it will be hard for his team to beat AFC Leopards when the two teams face off once again in a premiership match at Kasarani on Sunday.
Kamau believes it will be difficult to face the same team once again in less than six days considering that they have to come up with new tactics for the fixture.
Thika United and Ingwe met last weekend with the milkmen scoring through Dennis Odhiambo to force a 1-1 draw.
"It is challenging for any coach to change his tactics because of the familiarity. However, for us we are looking at this as an opportunity to collect our first three points in three fixtures,” Kamau told Goal.
He added: “The midfield remains their strongest position and once they get it right in terms of tactics, they will be very dangerous."
Kamau’s hopes for goals lie in Ezekiel Odera, Dennis Odhiambo and Francis Kahata. Leopards under coach Luc Eyamel should find a way of scoring goals and maintaining the score.
Last weekend, Leopards’ simply gave up the fight after going ahead early and wasted too many chances. Leopards’ attacking force of Allan Wanga and Noah Wafula needs to get back to scoring ways.
