Kenya coach Henri Michel has opted for continuity sticking with the same squad that lost out to South Africa 2-1 when they face Tanzania’s Taifa Starsat CCM Kirumba Stadium, Mwanza on Wednesday.
However, dependable duo Anthony Origi and Victor Wanyama miss out due to illness and club commitments respectively.
The duo's absence will offer Ulinzi keeper Jacktone Odhiambo and upcoming holding midfielder Anthony Akumu (Gor Mahia) a rare opportunity to stake their claim in the squad.
Wing wizard Patrick Oboya and Tanzanian-based attacking midfielder Jerry Santos are set for their first taste of action under the French coach.
Veteran goalkeeper Juma Kaseja is among the players expected to parade for Tanzania's Taifa Stars. Other key players in the Tanzania squad include TP Mazembe's striking duo of Samatta Mbwana and Thomas Ulimwengu.
