Gor Mahia host Thika United at Kasarani Stadium on Wednesday in an empty stadium in line with a Kenyan Premier League ruling that the former plays one match behind closed doors.
Gor were ordered to play their next home match behind closed doors following fan trouble which erupted during their derby against arch-rivals AFC Leopards two months ago.
However, even without fans Gor have the motivation to overcome Thika United. The team goes into this match on the back of a 2-1 win over Karuturi Sports in Nakuru and the fact that they will move to second spot if they pick all three points on Wednesday.
Rama Salim and new comer Paul Odhiambo will lead Gor’s attack in this match.
Thika United on the other hand will be keen to get back to winning ways after being held to a barren draw by Western Stima on Saturday and should line-up their best squad. Ezekiel Odera and Francis Kahata remain their goal hopefuls.
