Former Bandari midfielder Eric Ochieng has an opportunity to meet his former club when Gor Mahia take on the Coastal side in a top of the table premiership clash at City Stadium on Sunday.
Ochieng is one the players who have made the switch during the June transfer window and has so far fitted perfectly in the Gor midfield earning an opportunity to play in the last two matches.
Ochieng’ recently told Goal in an interview his long term dream since childhood was to feature for K’Ogalo.
“Since childhood, it has been my dream to play for this great club. I have always looked forward to getting the chance to don the colors of Gor Mahia and I am happy that this chance has presented itself. I am very happy after my first game,” said Ochieng.
Apart from Ochieng, the other new signing for Gor Mahia who has been impressive so far is Paul Odhiambo and he is likely to start on Sunday giving more options to an unpredictable forward line.
Bandari have shown they can do without a player who scored four goals for them in the first leg.
The Coastal side have every motivation to win the fixture because victory will push them to the top of the standings for the first time this season and it is position they would want to find themselves in considering that for them this is the last match of the first leg.
Their hope for goals will rest upon last Saturday’s two goal hero Shaban Kenga.
