F. Ribéry 44'
D. Alaba 77'
And that's your lot from me. As always a pleasure to be with you today, my name is Daniel Edwards and I'm signing off.
A convincing, if not necessarily dominant win by Die Roten over a side that had the potential to cause an upset. Bayern played patiently, kept the ball well and punished on the counter, and deserve to take three points which keep them in a commanding position at the summit.
And that's the final whistle. Bayern take the game 2-0 thanks to goals from Ribery and Alaba, and continue their incredible start to the season.
90' + 2'
Alaba tries his luck but Trapp is equal to the shot. A final flourish from Bayern.
90' + 1'
Robben fires in to the near post, but it's saved by Trapp. Two minutes added on.
Ribery is enjoying himself out there and wins a dangerous free kick, going down after being caught by Oczipka's elbow.
This game is slowly meandering to a finish, too late for Frankfurt now and Bayern look set to record a pretty routine victory.
It looks like Bayern will maintain a seven-point advantage at the Bundesliga summit. Schalke, currently second, also lead at home to Werder Bremen.
Frankfurt push with another attack, but the ball runs deep and Neuer lets it go out for a goal kick.
Dante pulled up for a foul on Occean, here's a chance to whip in a free-kick.
It should be game over now. Bayern have a two-goal lead and don't look like surrendering it, it will take a massive effort from the away side to come back.
Ribery!! The Frenchman powers past his marker and shoots, but Trapp gets his leg in the way to save the day.
Great link-up between Alaba and Ribery puts Bayern once more on goal, but an offside flag denies the host a third.
Penalty GoalDavid Alaba
GOAAAALLL!!!! Alaba makes no mistake, Trapp guesses the right way but cannot reach the penalty which nestles into the corner.
Penalty for Bayern!! Demidov judged to have pulled down Schweinsteiger, that looked harsh.
Occean looks to take on Van Buyten in the area, but there is no way past the defender.
Jupp Heynckes implores his men to focus for the last 20 minutes, as a long pass narrowly eludes Meier.
Inui has a couple of efforts from the corner flag, but hits the second long and Bayern are untroubled.
Frankfurt have their second corner of the game, will this be the turning point?
Bayern use up their final sub, Tymoschuk coming on for Kroos
Lovely stuff from Inui, who advances down the left with a series of flicks and neat passing. Just strayed offside while bearing down on Neuer, however, and the danger passes.
Another Robben corner, headed just wide by Van Buyten.
Bayern on the counter and Ribery had players in the box, but he chose to go alone. Well stopped by Demidov but it's more attacking territory for the German leaders.
Trapp fends the ball away, and Frankfurt survive again.
More pressure from the home team, who will have the chance from Robben's corner.
Substitute Muller shows that he is raring to go, breaking down the left and swinging the ball into the middle. Robben just off the pace and cannot reach the cross.
There's still 30 minutes to play, but the game seems to be slipping away from Frankfurt. Bayern are in control and are camped in the away half.
Alaba gets forward and puts in a decent cross, but Anderson is first to the ball and heads away.
Great play by Robben who wriggles past a couple of markers before letting in Martinez. The Spaniard tries from distance, but his shot is over.
A storming effort from Matmour, and Neuer has to take the sting off it before finally claiming.
Bayern attack from deep within their own half, and Ribery plays in Kroos who loops the ball over from the edge of the box.
The ball flashes past everyone and Robben takes it on the right. He lays off to Schweinsteiger, who slips while crossing and knocks it out for a goal kick.
Ribery tries to get past Jung on the left, and wins the corner.
A free-kick for Frankfurt, after Schweinsteiger takes down Schwegler. The ball comes in and Meier heads on... Off the bar!!! So close for the visitors.
Bayern are pressing hard and enjoying a decent spell of possession at the start, the goal has given them the confidence to play a more measured game.
No changes from either side at the break, although Bayern have already brought in Van Buyten for Boateng.
And we're off again. Bayern probe with a lofted pass to Robben, but Trapp reacts well and, outside the area, heads to safety.
The teams are back out on the pitch, we'll be back in business very shortly.
An uneven first-half performance from Bayern, who started in great fashion before stepping down a gear as the game wore on. A perfect finish to the first 45 though, and they have to be favourites from here to claim all three points.
And that's half-time, Franck Ribery putting Bayern in the ascendancy with that late strike.
Almost the second! Toni Kroos latches on to a cross and drives in low, but Trapp saves with the feet.
GOOAAAAL!!! This time yes!! A surgical counter from Bayern taken on by Martinez, who slides in perfectly across the box for Ribery to tap in. Massive strike just before the break.
GOOOAAAA... NO!!! Van Buyten thinks he has opened the scoring with a header, but the linesman rightly saw an offside.
Yellow CardVadim Demidov
A free-kick chance here, after Demidov takes down Pizarro.
Bamboozling stuff from Robben as he cuts inside, but the shot is blocked by a well-placed Frankfurt leg.
After a decent start, Bayer have struggled in the last 15 minutes to break through and Frankfurt have posed a danger on the counter. They'll need to raise their game again against a tricky rival.
A decent chance for Meier who flashes a header wide. Should have at least hit the target.
It's confirmed, Boateng will not continue and Daniel Van Buyten will make his first appearance of the season.
Arjen Robben is incensed that he was called offside for a break on the right, but the Netherlands man was just off.
Daniel Van Buyten
A dangerous ball into the Bayern box and Meier is expectant, but Dante sneaks in to clear the danger.
Boateng is in some discomfort, clutching his groin and limping off the pitch. Are we going to see a Roten change?
A few whistles and jeers ring out across the Allianz Arena. Bayern fans want a goal, and fast.
Jung tries to get Frankfurt going wide on the left and he squares for Rode, but the shot is well wide.
Lovely save from the Frankfurt keeper! Ribery was clean through, but Trapp showed his strength and denied the France star. Corner comes to nothing.
Nice work from Ribery, who steams past Jung and tries to set up Schweinsteiger. The midfielder cannot get a decent contact though, and his shot rolls weakly to Trapp.
After being dominated in the opening minutes, Frankfurt have shown a couple of signs that they are looking to take maximum points here. The away have had some decent attacks.
Trapp called into action from deep, palming away a dipping free kick from Alaba.
Some more good stuff from Frankfurt, and Aigner has the chance with a looping cross from the left. The winger's header, however, loops harmlessly over.
Jung has a bit of space on the right and releases the volley, but it's high, wide and not so handsome.
Ribery reacts brilliantly to get on to Boateng's long ball, but he is just offside.
Another easy take for Neuer, who cuts short another abortive Frankfurt attempt to get forward.
Yellow CardTakashi Inui
Takashi Inui becomes the latest player in the book, after a fairly obvious dive fails to convince the referee.
Five red shirts swarm on goal while Ribery takes the ball forward. Alaba and Pizarro both go for the same ball, however, and they have to settle for a corner in the confusion.
A really positive start from Bayern, who are working hard down the flanks and looking to push for an opener early on.
Almost the opener for the hosts!! Kroos explodes down the left and then eludes the Frankfurt backline with a lovely low cross, but it's just to much of a stretch for Arjen Robben and the diving Dutchman hits into the side netting.
Manuel Neuer is called into action for the first time, easily snaffling a rather ambitious free kick pumped into the Roten box.
Busy there from Ribery and Pizarro, who combine to leave the Frenchman with a chance on the edge of the box. There's a lot of Frankfurt bodies around though, and there's no room for a shot.
Demidov puts his team under pressure by handing the ball to Ribery, but redeems himself by robbing the Frenchman in the area. Franck went down, but a penalty was never coming.
Yellow CardStefan Aigner
Stefan Aigner is rather lucky to stay on the field. The ex-1860 Munich man lunged into a tackle and could have earned a red, but he escapes with a booking.
Ribery surges down the right and crosses, but he can't find a red shirt and the danger passes.
And we're off! Bayern immediately settle into possession as they hope to extend their lead at the top of the Bundesliga.
The teams are out on the pitch now, we're just a few minutes from kick off.
And for Frankfurt? Trapp; Oczipka, Demidov, Bamba, Jung; Schwegler, Rode; Inui, Meier, Aigner; Matmour
This is how Bayern will look this evening: Neuer; Lahm, Boateng, Dante, Alaba; Martinez, Schweinsteiger; Robben, Kroos, Ribery; Pizarro.
Let's not underestimate Frankfurt though. Armin Veh's men are tied with Schalke as Bayern's closest challengers, and three points away from home would put them right back into the mix with a lot of season still to play.
Die Roten have taken the league by storm so far, winning nine out of their first 10 games to take a seven point lead at the top. Can they keep up the good work today?
