Goal.com rates the performers on show as Carlo Ancelotti's side opened up a six-point lead at the top of the table courtesy of a 3-1 win at the Parc des Princes.
Typically untested severely at the back, the Italy international remained vigilant and did his duties well before being controversially beaten by Khazri’s wonderful free-kick.

Alex
The Brazilian centre-back returned from injury to feature and nevertheless proved to be stringent at the back after initially looking rusty. Will be a welcome addition ahead of the CL fixtures.

Maxwell
Did well offensively and limited Bastia on his flank. Though slightly more defensive minded than he’s used to, the Brazilian enjoyed a decent run out as he completed his duties well. Threatening when more advanced.

Sylvain Armand
The veteran once again did well after deputising for Thiago Silva. Not faced with particularly much, his tackles and clearances were a highlight.

Gregory van der Wiel
Not difficult to see why Ancelotti prefers Christophe Jallet at the back, but nevertheless a rather average evening from the Dutchman, in his first league start since November. Was posed a few problems by Thauvin. Rather mute during the second period too.

Jérémy Menez
Top of the Match
Whereas his pace and trickery dominated the visitors early on, Menez was initially again lacking in the end product before rising to feature prominently. Linked well with Gameiro, who hit the post, and then Pastore who supplied his goal just after the break. Well-taken finish before almost hitting a spectacular second. A great game from him.

Clément Chantôme
In the line-up in place of the rested Blaise Matuidi, Chantome showed glimpses of why he should be in the first team more often. Great combination with Verratti, though sometimes erratic.

Marco Verratti
His passing range benefited the league leaders once more, being the driving force in the midfield, constantly setting up his team-mates. Fared well shielding the defence too. A good evening for the young Italian.

Javier Pastore
Enjoyed an unassuming first half, letting the other attacking trio to take the mantle. The Argentine contributed sufficiently, before upping the ante in the second half – where he picked up an assist.

Lucas
The Brazilian shined on home ground again, but his finishing left a lot to be desired. Slipped up at a free-kick before scuffing a golden opportunity wide, it soured what otherwise was a productive evening.

Kevin Gameiro
The striker was named in place of Ibrahimovic, and featured well, creating many a chance. Thwarted by Landreau before also hitting the post, the former Lorient star can take heart from his performance. Subbed for Ibrahimovic.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic
The Swede’s introduction midway through the second half saw him terrorise the Bastia defence, toying with Harek in particular, before tucking away his 21st league goal from the spot soon after.

Ezequiel Lavezzi
Came on for Lucas with 15 minutes to go and still managed to etch his name onto the scoresheet with a fine header.
The former Lille custodian did well for almost an hour thanks mainly in part to his rearguard. Turned away a Gameiro backheel brilliantly before being finally beaten by Menez, Lavezzi and Ibrahimovic.

The defender enjoyed a prudent first half, calmly dealing with anything that PSG threw at him. Thwarted both Lucas and notably Maxwell before fading towards the end.

Harek Féthi
The full-back, along with Palmieri was noticeably unconvincing. Had a few troubles in limiting a rampant PSG side before fading away further after Ibrahimovic’s inclusion.

Gilles Cioni
Like his defensive partners, Cioni failed to shine despite a promising opening. Did well to try and thwart Gameiro but couldn’t sustain his performance.

Julien Palmieri
Apart from a rather unnecessary tackle on Moura which led to a penalty, Palmieri was a driving force for his side, constantly picking out team-mates and pushing them forward. Held his own in the middle.

Florian Thauvin
The Lille bound star was the visitors’ best player before Khazri’s introduction towards the end. Constantly ran at the hosts and instigated chances for his side.

Back from the Africa Cup of Nations, the energetic midfielder asserted control of the midfield, but continued to constantly toe the line with the referee. Substituted for Khazri.

The former PSG star was one of his side’s better players this evening. Led his team confidently during the first 45, fairing well in a packed midfield in a performance which belies his advancing years.

Wahbi Khazri
His brief few minutes almost handed Bastia a shock draw. Well regarded as the playmaker of this side, Khazri broke Sirigu’s record with a fine free-kick from 40 yards before being thwarted seconds later. Nevertheless, a terrific appearance off the bench.
