Coming as a huge blow to the Socceroo's, Asian Cup favourites Australia may have to make do without the services of star player Tim Cahill in the quarter-finals after the midfielder sustained a thigh injury in the victory over Bahrain.

Australia Win Group C
Australia did enough to earn a 1-0 win over Bahrain in the final group game of the 2011 Asian Cup to make sure they finish top of the pile ahead of South Korea, and thus avoid a meeting with Iran in the quarter-finals. Mile Jedinak scored the only goal of the game in the first half.
