Miroslav Stoch, FC Twente (PROSHOTS)
Miroslav Stoch – He officially wore the Nitra jersey for the first time in 1997. 'Mino', as he's called by relatives and friends, was discovered by his father and was brought to FC Nitra's local academy at an early age. He made his first appearance for the club in 2004, at age 15, a few days after scoring a hat-trick in Nitra's U-17s 3-1 victory against Slovan Bratislava.

In 2006, Stoch joined a training camp in the summer at OGC Nice and just as  the French outfit were about to offer him a professional contract, he was swept off his feet by the prospect of a youth team trial at Chelsea.

In the same year Stoch signed a youth academy contract with Chelsea and then a professional deal in 2007. Already Chelsea's top scorer at the U-18 level and an U-21 international regular for his country, he made his Premier League debut on November 30, 2008 against Arsenal. He was also seen on the bench for the Blues' UEFA Champions League clash against CFR Cluj.

He is currently out on a one-year loan from Chelsea to Dutch side FC Twente until the end of the season. Chelsea are ready to offer Stoch a new contract that will keep him with the Blues until next summer.

His debut for Slovakia's A team was on February 2009, against Ukraine, in a tournament in Cyprus.
