Palermo goalkeeper Marco Amelia was a contender for man-of-the-match in Palermo's 3-1 win for Milan on Sunday evening. The former Livorno keeper made several key stops, including one extremely crucial save from Ronaldinho's first half penalty, when the game was still scoreless.
Amelia spoke about the incident and revealed that he had seen Ronaldinho shoot in a similar way somewhere before.
"It was like playing against Ronaldinho on the Playstation," he excitedly claimed, according to Channel4. "He did the exact same run-up, it was very strange."
The players came one-on-one again in the second half once Palermo already had a 3-0 lead, but Ronaldinho scored his penalty on that occasion. "I almost got the second too, but that would have been too much!" joked the Italian international.
Palermo's next Serie A match is against in-form Cagliari, who defeated Sampdoria at the Stadio Sant'Elia.
