Papas quits FC Goa due to ‘migraine’

FC Goa will be without the services of Arthur Papas who was roped in to work in the capacity as an assistant coach in order to aid Zico has put in his papers last week.

The Australian who works as the head coach of Dempo SC had expressed his interest earlier to be a part of FC Goa.

“He stated that he has migraine and has left for Australia in order to get well,” informed a FC Goa official to Goal.

The former Pailan Arrows coach was absent in FC Goa’s last two away fixtures against Delhi Dynamos and Mumbai City FC where they picked four points from a possible six.

It is reliably learnt that a few Brazilians are expected to help Zico for the rest of the Indian Super League (ISL) and are scheduled to arrive in Goa on Wednesday.
