Serbian winger Milos Krasic could be on his way out of Juventus before the Russian transfer window slams shut as Champions League hopefuls Zenit St Petersburg have shown an interest in signing the attacker, Goal.com can reveal.
The Russian titleholders are keen to add some more creativity to their squad due to the season-ending injury of Portugal international Danny, and they see the 27-year-old Krasic as the perfect replacement.
Krasic has been struggling to get regular first-team action at Juventus under head coach Antonio Conte, and is therefore keen to move on in order to relaunch his career elsewhere.
Nevertheless, a transfer to Zenit is anything but a certainty as the Russian giants are reluctant to meet Krasic's wage demands. The Serbia international earns €1.8 million net per year at Juventus, and Zenit have no intention of matching his current salary.
They have not given up hopes of signing Krasic just yet though as they are hopeful the winger will lower his demands in order to make the transfer happen after all.
