Milan To Announce David Beckham Deal Tomorrow - Report
Friday could be the decisive day for Beckham, Milan and Galaxy as the deal to keep him in Italy nears an end...
The deal which will see Milan keep David Beckham on a permanent basis is expected to be announced on Friday, according to a report in La Gazzetta Dello Sport.
The Italian sports newspaper claims both the Rossoneri and Los Angeles Galaxy are about to cross the finish line in terms of reaching an agreement for the England international.
Beckham has consistently maintained his stance of wanting to stay in Milan in order to boost his England international chances. He is getting closer to fulfilling his wish as Gazzetta report that the deal could be announced as soon as tomorrow.
Reports suggest Beckham will take a 50 per cent cut in his wages in order to conclude the deal in Milan's favour, which would mean the Italian club could offer more cash to the American side to compensate them for losing the player until June.
It is believed that both clubs will agree to a share deal where the player stays in Italy until June, returns to finish off the MLS season with Galaxy, and finally comes back to Milan in November when his contract with the Los Angeles-based club expires.
The Italians have kept quiet over the Beckham deal recently, preferring to stay out of the media limelight, but Gazzetta somehow seem to know of an agreement, despite the official silence.
