Inter coach Jose Mourinho has denied that he sent his agent and Nerazzurri chief Marco Branca to London with a view to convincing Drogba and his representatives to make the switch to Serie A. However, he did so in a cheeky manner.
Meanwhile, Blues boss Luis Felipe Scolari appeared to be rattled by the now infamous phantom dinner date, and now the Ivorian himself has refused to comment outright.
Drogs said to Sky Sports: "Inter? I don't have anything to say. No comment about the supposed meeting.
"I have a contract with Chelsea until 2010 and I'm still upset about the reaction on my comeback game."
Drogba's coin-throwing antics in the Carling Cup defeat to Burnley have put his attitude into the spotlight. His injury problems are hampering him as he looks to force his way into the side ahead of red-hot Nicolas Anelka. Thus, many feel he'll follow ex-Blues gaffer and mentor Mourinho to Italy.
