The attacker has been a key part in the Azzurrini reaching the European Under-21 Championship last two and is not bothered by Spain being favouritesItaly Under-21s star Lorenzo Insigne is desperate to avoid European Under-21 final defeat against Spain Under-21s on Tuesday, describing such a scenario as "horrible".
The Napoli starlet, 22, scored the winning goal in their first clash of the tournament against England and, after missing the final group game due to injury, returned to help the Azzurrini reach the last two in Israel this summer.
Their opponents, la Roja, are yet to concede a single goal in the four games en route to the final and head into the game as favourites - a factor that Insigne is not concerned over, though he is hoping Italy can surprise as underdogs.
He told Uefa.com: "Italy don't have a problem if everybody sees the Spanish as favourites.
"It would be a wonderful feeling to lift the trophy. I hope everything goes well and we can lift the trophy so we don't have to watch the others with it. That would be horrible."
Devis Mangia's men beat England 1-0, Israel 4-0 and drew 1-1 with Norway to reach the last four then subsequently defeated Netherlands 1-0 on Saturday.
The Azzurrini will hope to avoid the fate of the senior side in Euro 2012 a year ago, when Italy were beaten 4-0 in the final by Spain.
