thumbnail Hello,

Mattia De Sciglio and Alessio Cerci could make their Azzurri debuts, while Gianluigi Buffon is set to equal Paolo Maldini's tally of 126 caps

A total of 13 AC Milan and Juventus players have been called up to the Italy squad for the upcoming fixtures against Brazil and Malta.

Rossoneri full-back Mattia De Sciglio is in line to make his first Azzurri appearance after producing some fine form for Massimiliano Allegri's side, while Alessio Cerci of Torino could also make his debut.

Should captain Gianluigi Buffon feature in both matches, he would equal Paolo Maldini on 126 caps, just 10 fewer than former skipper Fabio Cannavaro, who currently holds the record for most appearances.

The Euro 2012 runners-up face Brazil in a friendly on Thursday, before clashing with Malta in a 2014 World Cup qualifier five days later.

They currently sit four points ahead of Bulgaria in Group B.
