Uefa has opened disciplinary proceedings against both the English and Serbian FAs over the ugly scenes which marred the Three Lions' Under-21 success on Tuesday night.
Stuart Pearce's men sealed their place at Euro 2013 in Israel as Connor Wickham's 90th-minute strike rounded off a 2-0 aggregate win.
However, violent scenes met the final whistle, with punches appearing to be thrown between both sets of players and coaching staff in Krusevac.
England wideman Danny Rose was red-carded after full-time for kicking an object into the crowd, an incident which he put down to racial abuse coming from the stands.
Uefa has now revealed that it will investigate the allegations of racist chanting from Serbian fans and the improper conduct of both sets of players at the end of the game.
The cases will be heard by the Uefa control and disciplinary body on November 22.
