Barcelona-bound left-back Jordi Alba feels that he is capable of playing for Spain at the Olympic Games in London.
The 23-year-old made 50 appearances in all competitions for Valencia before playing a leading role in La Roja's title-winning campaign at Euro 2012, starting each of his team's six matches in Poland and Ukraine.
Alba is one of three players who were at the Euros to make Luis Milla's preliminary Olympic squad, and he has now declared that he is in perfect physical condition to play in London, despite coming off a long season.
"I will have some days to rest and then we will see if I make the cut," he told reporters at a press conference.
"But I think I am fit, I am young and I think I am capable of playing in London."
